Since we weren't going to see them at Thanksgiving this year, Nanny and Pap squeezed in a trip to Las Vegas.
I am certain Nanny has a million more pictures but here are a few I took...
They arrived late on a Friday evening (after having a 5 hour delay because of rain in Las Vegas)
On Saturday morning we went to the Discovery Children's Museum. Kirby's company was have a work outing. This was our first visit to the museum and we barely even scratched the surface of all it has to offer because we spent a great deal of time at the company lunch.

This sweet little girl, Ava Grace, is the daughter of one of Kirby's colleagues. She followed Jocelyn all around the luncheon and Jocelyn gave her hug after hug after hug. Who knew a 4 year old could be such a great babysitter.

On Sunday Nanny and I took the kids to Target and then to Bass Pro Shops which attached to the aquarium at the Silverton. I don't think I have ever posted about the Bass Pro Shops. It is pretty amazing! They have set up a Santa village for Christmas. Hopefully we will get back there and I can take some more pictures.

Kirby had to work Monday so we had a relaxing morning. After a little play at home, Nanny and Pap took the kids to the playground so I could get started on packing for our trip to Boulder, CO.

Of course Jocelyn wanted some too |
Their last night in Vegas was full of unplanned fun. The kids and I picked Kirby up from work and we met Nanny and Pap in Town Square for dinner. After dinner we went on the kid train through Town Square. Charlie of course was eating this up! And then we caught snow in the square. Each night at 7 pm they blow snow (real snow! like they do at ski resorts) in the Town Square Park while playing Christmas music. It was a great quick visit!
