Week 6- Gymboree

Place: Gymboree
Cost: $55 a month
Hours: They offer a variety of classes and class times.  Charlie is going to Play & Learn from 12:00-12:45
Best for kids age: 5 and under
On the plus side: Charlie went to Gymboree in Wilmington, Delaware from the time he was 3 months up until we moved to Las Vegas.  And we all loved it!  He had two fantastic teachers.  One that he was with just until he was 6 months and then Ms. Rachel for almost a year and half.  He still talks about her to this day.

I think Gymboree is great for infants (under 6 months).  When Charlie was that age, it was refreshing to talk to other first time moms experiencing the same ups and downs of life.  And I think Gymboree is great for kids six months and up, as long as you have great teachers and small classes.  Charlie was so fortunate to experience this, just as Kirby and I were.
On the down side:  Okay the not so great part....  Gymboree in Las Vegas is horrible!!!   His class is in a room about half the size of his old Gymboree.  On any given day there are about 15 kids with their parents.   And each week I don't even recognize at least half the kids.  The class is overly structured, so much so that the kids don't get to interact with each other nor do the parents.
Suggestions:  The teachers at Gymboree in Las Vegas are extremely nice, but outside of that ehh...  I can't give suggestions because to be perfectly honest everytime we go to Gymboree here I just want to go back home.
Rating (on a scale of 1-5 stars) 2  I totally debating giving a 1 for Gymoree of Las Vegas.  The people who work there are really friendly.  The facility is clean and the programs are organized.  Hence the two.
Go again? After our month is up, we won't be returning to Gymboree.  That being said, I would highly highly highly recommend checking out your local Gymboree because you could be fortunate to have the experience we did in Wilmington.
